Free 'Card Gype' Game Features G.K. Chesterton Quotations

A new card game featuring quotations of G.K. Chesterton is available to the public for free from publisher Eternal Revolution. Uncle Chestnut's Card Gype is based on a game concept created by G.K. Chesterton and H.G. Wells, which Chesterton mentioned in his Autobiography.

In Card Gype, players follow simple but ever-changing rules to match items from Uncle Chestnut's pockets to create topics for his lectures and books. The cards feature over 40 quotations from G.K. Chesterton. The game can be download from Eternal Revolution's website, Eternal-Revolution.com.

The character of "Uncle Chestnut" was created for a children's book about G.K. Chesterton, The Inconvenient Adventures of Uncle Chestnut by Paul Nowak. "Uncle Chestnut" is a nickname local children used for the real G.K. Chesterton, who was very fond of young people.

A limited edition full-color version of Card Gype will be offered to purchasers of Eternal Revolution's new board game, Uncle Chestnut's Table Gype, which will be released in late February.

The Gype games are the latest addition to Eternal Revolution's collection of G.K. Chesterton-related products, which already features The Inconvenient Adventures of Uncle Chestnut and several t-shirts featuring G.K. Chesterton quotations.
