Niagara Falls is situated at the border between the USA and Canada. It is one of the most enjoyable wonders of nature and a very popular tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors each year, from all over the world. Besides the beautiful scenery of the Falls, the key attraction here is a boat cruise called the Maid of the Mist, which brings tourists very close to the Falls. Another prime attraction in Niagara is the Marineland theme park, which never fails to captivate both the young and the old.

The reason Niagara Falls has gained so much recognition is because of its astonishing natural beauty, which never disappoints. Taking a ride on the fabled Maid of the Mist gets you as close as possible to its powerful glory. The Maid of the Mist’s tour of the Horseshoe and American Falls allows visitors to survey the massive Falls only several meters away. This up close view allows visitors hear and feel the thunderous might of the water as it flows over the edge from above. Also, the surrounding natural areas have a particular charm about them. A stroll through nearby Queen Victoria Park, which faces the Falls from the Canadian side, provides a glimpse of how things were in the days gone by.

There are plenty of amusement areas near Niagara Falls with Marineland being the most popular. This family friendly attraction offers a unique combination of themed amusement park and animal exhibition. Although, most of Marineland’s offerings are intended for young children and their families to enjoy, groups of all types will enjoy the parks fun-filled atmosphere. During the day, Marineland hosts many live aquatic shows that feature amazing acrobatic Beluga Whales, Killer Whales, walruses, sea lions and dolphins. As well, visitors are allowed to come close to the animals and interact with them. The Friendship Cove exhibit at Marineland, lets you touch and feed some amazing marine animals and on land you can also feed animals like bears and deer.

Marineland offers a massive park with several acres of attractions spread evenly over the area rather than packed together like typical amusement parks. Standing tall above Marineland and its many rides is Dragon Mountain: the world's largest steel roller coaster spreading over 30 acres of land. There is also the SkyScreamer tower ride soaring 137 meters above the tourist region and can be seen behind the Horseshoe Falls. It’s an exhilarating sensation to be launched at 60 miles an hour straight upward.

When planning a trip to Niagara Falls for your family, be sure to add the Maid of the Mist and Marineland Canada to your itinerary. Kids will love the fun and amazing experiences they’ll have visiting each attraction, leaving memories that will last a lifetime.
