Wylie, TX – (Nov. 17, 2010) - Flowers’ Gardens & Landscapes, a TEIL award winner, explains their 5-step landscape design process. The 5 step landscape design process allows Flowers’ Gardens & Landscapes to offer high-quality, horticulturally-sound landscape services with a personal touch. According to the company – “Our custom landscape designs are more than planting plans. We incorporate your needs and desires as we create and improve your outdoor living space.”

The Flowers’ Gardens & Landscapes 5-step landscape design (Allen, Plano, and Dallas region) process enables the company to create customized garden and landscape arrangements to create the outdoor living spaces that meets their clients’ ultimate outdoor vision.

The process starts with an initial consultation with the client. During this time the objectives for the landscape design (Dallas and nearby areas) project are discussed. Upon completion, a site visit is scheduled. The site visit and client meeting make up the second step of the process. During this step the company meets with the client and further discusses the design process and the client’s ideas for the design project. If the client chooses to accept our Design Agreement, Flowers’ Gardens & Landscapes move on to the third step of the design process.

The third step is Site Analysis which is the first actual design phase of the process. During this step the existing site is measured and analyzed. Existing site conditions are identified and incorporated.

The fourth step – Concept Development – consists of two parts. The first part, Design Analysis, involves the creation of a preliminary design for the landscape. The second portion is Budget Analysis. Budget Analysis involves providing a general cost proposal based on the design recommendations planned out during the Design Analysis phase. The client can then choose if they want to proceed with the entire plan or only certain portions of the overall design project.

The final step in the landscape designer (Dallas area) process is the Final Design. The Final Design specifies the various hardscape elements, plants, construction details, and any other changes that need to be made to the landscape. A final meeting may occur to finalize all the plan details if necessary. After confirmation the design is ready to be implemented.
