Costa Rica Eco-tours – Exploring Life

by Jayson Acosta Thursday, January 26, 2012
Costa Rica is a small Central American country located between the countries of Nicaragua and Panama. Although small, this country contains just under five percent of the entire world’s biodiversity. Life in extreme sizes, shapes, and colors are bountiful here. Humpback whales, giant leatherback sea turtles, saltwater crocodiles, jaguar, howler monkeys, and bright colored frogs are among the most amazing species. The rainforests of Costa Rica vary greatly across the country. A multitude of micro-climates enable a rich assortment of life. Tropical trees and flowers are exquisite in Costa Rica. Thousands of tropical flowers, including orchids, decorate the ancient jungles and cloud forests. As always, primary rainforests are the best viewing locations for these wonders of our planet. With all the wonders of life waiting to be explored, it no wonder eco-tours are among the most desirable of Costa Rica Vacations.
