The small beach town of Playa Grande, Costa Rica is a world renowned area to observe a rich verity of of the earth’s bio-diversity. Over 4% of all the bio-diversity found in the world is found in this tiny country, but by far the most amazing are the Giant Leatherback Turtles of Las Baulas National Park in Playa Grande.
The Costa Rican government has taken great steps to protect and preserve this species and rightly so. Giant Leatherback Turtles are both ancient, beautiful, and the largest of all sea turtles. Roaming the open ocean they never fail to return to their spawning ground at Las Baulas National Park. This unique species continues to be one of Costa Rica’s main attractions and with spawning season underway and continuing through February it’s not too late to experience this miracle. Entertaining and educational tours are easy to find and affordable making this one of the best Costa Rica Vacations to chose.

This place is paradise...
