ROMANCE for Christmas by Actor/Screenwriter ROBERT KRANTZ
New book “Falling in Love with Sophia” compared to work of Nicholas Sparks
by Allen Media Strategies Sunday, November 28, 2010
FALLING IN LOVE WITH SOPHIA is in the Top 20 bestsellers of Amazon's health, mind, relationships and marriage category.
Robert Krantz comes from Chicago’s Greek community and while he made Do You Wanna Dance? before My Big Fat Greek Wedding was released, FALLING IN LOVE WITH SOPHIA is reminiscent of both films with its scenes of a large boisterous Greek family. Now SOPHIA is receiving rave reviews from readers all over the world and Krantz, the first-time novelist but longtime screenwriter, finds himself being compared to bestselling author Nicholas Sparks, which he says is “humbling and amazing.”
“These are very difficult times we are living in,” says Krantz. “Everyone, on some level, is struggling to get through it. I think one of the things that has drawn people to this book is that it is saying that no matter how tumultuous your circumstances, no matter how confusing your situation might be, God is at work and will prevail for you in the end. Keep the faith.”

Storyline of FALLING IN LOVE WITH SOPHIA
Do you believe there is someone in this world that you are destined to fall in love with and spend the rest of your life with? Michael Alexopoulos did. When he met Sophia, he knew there was something special about her. The way they looked at each other, the way they talked to each other, the way they felt about each other...it just seemed different. He knew they were meant to be together. Forever.
The only problem was they were in sixth grade.
However, the hand of destiny - the hand of providence - has a long reach and although their lives took some difficult twists and turns, years later Michael and Sophia would be reunited. Michael proposed, Sophia accepted, and their fate seemed sealed. What happened next would change their lives forever and make Sophia and Michael question whether their love would last forever.
Is it true that there is someone in this world that you are destined to fall in love with and spend the rest of your life with? Michael Alexopoulos was about to find out.
