EJ Macleod, from the Kingsley School, is one of only 16 Midlands players to have been selected to attend a Hockey High Performance Assessment Camp (HIPAC).
This HIPAC aims to give players in the U15 and U17 age groups first-hand experience of an international training camp environment, in preparation for potential future involvement in an England age group squad.
The HiPACs are run by England Hockey (the national governing body) who will appoint all relevant personnel, to include Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Welfare Officers and Managers/Administrators.
The Warwickshire all-girls school has a proud history of hockey in Physical Education, which is demonstrated by the school facilities boasting four high quality hockey pitches and the number of talented students playing for local teams at a high level.
Year 10 pupil EJ currently plays hockey for Warwickshire, the Midlands Region and Stratford Hockey Club.
